- The funding covers stipend (estimated at £19,795 for 2025 entry) and fees for up to four years, as well as providing a training grant of £3,000 per year

BiPS Research Excellence Award
The BiPS Research Excellence Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate leading Black and Black heritage researchers across the UK plant science community.
Travel and accommodation: international flights in economy class and bed and breakfast, will be organized by BiPS in liaison with the awardee. Total costs are capped to a maximum of £1500.
Subsistence: Up to £40 per day can be claimed for subsistence during the 5 days of the conferences and upon submission of receipts.
