Getting to Leeds

Train 

The city of Leeds is easily accessible by train, with the primary station located in the city centre. Helix is approximately 20 minutes on foot from Leeds Station.

Bus 

Local bus services usually run from the following stops straight to campus:

City Square E – Bus 24 towards Holt Park (stop at University of Leeds)

Trinity N – Bus 5 towards LGI (stop at Leeds Dental Hospital)

Bicycle facilities: Bicycle parking is available in stands on-site.

Where can I stay in Leeds? 

All attendees are asked to book their own accommodation please refer to the Accommodation List for a range of options that would cater for all budgets.

In Leeds there are multiple options for accommodation including hotels, bed and breakfasts, guesthouses, college rooms, and serviced apartments. To find suitable accommodation, we recommend checking the following hotels and websites: 

Are there any concessionary rates available? 

Students are offered a reduced-price ticket of £15. Please select this option on registration. 

What is your refund policy? 

Refunds will be processed up to 7 days before the event start and will be subject to a Eventbrite ticketing fee. After 7 days we will not be able to reimburse you the cost of your ticket. 

How accessible is the venue?

Free wifi access is available onsite and throughout most of Leeds campus via Eduroam.

What food options will be available at the event?

Catering will be provided at the following times of the day:

9:30am – Welcome refreshments

11:00am – Morning break refreshments

12:30pm – Lunch

2:40pm – Afternoon break refreshments

At all points of the day there will be vegetarian, vegan and halal options available. If you have have any other specific dietary requirements, please state this upon registration.
