Hosting the successful candidate
We are now inviting labs that are able to host the successful candidate to share the projects that they are working on so that we can appropriately match the student with the lab.

  • If your lab that is able to host a student for a period of 6 weeks, starting in or around July, then please get in touch with us by including a paragraph that summarises the project and potential length of the studentship.
  • Please let us know if you are able to support the successful candidate in finding affordable and suitable accommodation.
  • Each award includes £400 for costs to run the research.

Please complete the form below by Friday 14 February 2025.

We will review all projects and offer suitable ones to the successful candidate.

Extra opportunities
If you have your own funding to support student projects then please let us know. We will have a group of very enthusiastic students looking forward for an opportunity to build their skills and demonstrate their talents. Through this scheme, we will select the best student to match your project, offer them pastoral support and introduce them to a supportive community which will improve their sense of belonging and you would be contributing to diversifying Plant Sciences in UK.
